What I Eat In a Day as a Vegan for Weight loss Day 4

 

 

 

 

I like to share what I eat in a day. This can give you an idea of different meals you can make that are beneficial to your health and will help you lose weight. I suggest that you try and eat foods that are natural from the earth. You can flavor your food with different sauces with a tomato base or coconut milk base. Garnish your meals with different foods like green onion, yellow onion, hot sauce, cilantro, and lemon.

Breakfast

Peanut butter and oat balls. 
It’s simple and fast. Mix peanut butter with oats, you can add cinnamon and maple syrup for flavor. You can eat this uncooked, just cool it in the fridge or you can bake it at 400 for 10 minutes. Either way tastes yummy. It’s a simple and delicious breakfast or snack on the go.

Whole grains: oats

Protein: peanut butter

Fat: peanut butter

2 cups of Coffee

Lunch

 

Yellow tofu and spicy kale with quinoa. I garnished with white onion and cilantro.

Tofu is a complete protein. Quinoa is a complete protein and  high in fiber.

Whole Grains: Quinoa

Protein: Tofu, Quinoa

Vegetables: Kale

 

 

Dinner

For dinner I had quinoa with my barbecue-cauliflower  recipe and Mixed greens and cherry tomatoes .

Whole grains: quinoa

Protein: quinoa

Vegetables: salad, cauliflower

Fat: olive oil ( I didn’t add oil to my salad but I added olive oil when I cooked the cauliflower)

 

 

Snack

Sometimes I need a snack that is quick and filling. I ate a peanut butter and jelly wrap, I put the PB and J in a tortilla and I added oats in it to make it more filling

Whole grains: oats

Protein: peanut butter

Fat: peanut butter

Cup of black Tea

 

Water

72 oz.

 

You can snack on fruits and vegetables throughout the day.  Make sure you drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated and eating a diet high in fiber will make you feel more full to prevent you from over-eating. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and legumes are high in fiber. Whole grains and legumes are also a source of protein. Try and make half your dish vegetables. This will fill you up without adding too many calories.
